Handballers Seek All-Ireland Glory

Following up on a pretty successful weekend gone by Connacht handballers feature in a host of all-Ireland semi-fianls and as finals. All eyes will be on Mayo's Dessie Keegan and Joe McCann as they bid to reach the Mens' senior doubles decider when they take on Meath at Cappagh on Saturday while Marianna Rush will also be bidding to reach the Ladies singles final when she takes on Kerry's Maria Daly in the  semi. Pauline Gallagher faces the in-forn Cathriona Casey in the intermediate final at Ballydesmond also on Saturday. Galway brothers, Pat and Ollie Conway also bid for Senior status as they take on Cork in the intermediate doubles final
at Tulla as the first of a three-match card that also sees Galway in action in two further masters doubles finals. 
Mayo feature in two of the three finals at Moycullen on Sunday while Roscommon and Mayo line out in two further finals at Tuamgraney on Sunday from 2pm.
Mayo play Gway in the Connacht Juveniel B semi-finals at Williamstown and Claremorris on Satuday and Sligo do battle with Leitrim in the quarter-final on Sunday - see the Juveniel Handball page above for details.
